What happens if my organization tries to manage change without a methodology?
Any project can have a communication and training plan, but won’t necessarily make it clear for employees why the change is happening or what’s in it for them. Without Change Management there will be no context at all and people won’t understand why they’re being trained.
Managing change without a structured approach can be risky:
- People have no context for their new activities
- You can’t focus your actions based on your employees’ change stage
- You may miss key steps or key stakeholders
- You will waste time and energy and more importantly, money
